Effective for the 2026-2027 school year, a vacancy for full‑time Speech and Language Therapist positions for school‑age students exists within the Division of Student Services for the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position will serve school‑age special education students within the Reading Area school district.

Qualifications
- Must have valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
- Master's degree in Communicative Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence; Clinical Fellowship year considered
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
- Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide speech/language therapy services, complete evaluations and maintain all paperwork for a caseload of students including itinerant classrooms.
Salary (2026-27 School Year)
$74,415 – $107,845 – all SLPs with Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Sciences Disorders (Track I). Placement on salary range is determined by years of experience.
