Responsibilities
Pick up and manage group booking enquiries for selected hotels, converting them into bookings wherever possible.
Work with clients from enquiry to the day of the event to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
Create, check, and distribute group function sheets and manage bookings in the PMS.
Complete Request for Proposals (RFP) for potential clients on request.
Manage databases and digital platforms, keeping them up to date and accurate.
Develop and maintain relationships with regular guests to secure loyalty.
Create procedures and step‑by‑step guides for group bookings for others in the company.
Maximise revenue from group bookings and log all information on internal platforms.
Manage billing and payments, ensuring they are processed on time.
Qualifications
Tech and data savvy, confident with online digital platforms.
Experience using Property Management Systems, ideally Opera.
Previous hotel meeting and events/sales experience.
Self‑motivated, positive and engaging personality with energy and enthusiasm.
Excellent communicator in all formats, with strong written communication.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Willingness to embrace change and support the wider team.
Hours
Full time, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, office hours, with occasional weekend work where required. Benefits
