We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Security Manager to join the leadership team at LEGOLAND Windsor. This is a critical in-house leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance and compliance of the outsourced security contract, as well as the operational delivery of the on-site first aid function during attraction opening hours. Acting as the local security lead, you will be accountable for incident management, emergency planning, contractor performance, and compliance with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn's Law).

You will support both the attraction and UK Head of Security by shaping and implementing site-specific security programmes that align with legal obligations and organisational standards. This includes supporting tactical and strategic security planning, conducting and reviewing risk assessments, determining appropriate countermeasures, and promoting a proactive and resilient security culture across all operations.

You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of site-wide emergency procedures and protective security measures, develop operational SOPs, monitor contractor KPIs and SLAs, and ensure robust incident response and investigation processes are maintained.

The role also involves managing and maintaining the site's Local Terrorism and Crime Risk Profile, Counter Terrorism Risk Assessment, and Action Plans, while ensuring ongoing compliance with Public Protection Measures outlined in Martyn's Law. A key part of the role will be managing the relationship with the site's Counter Terrorism Security Adviser (CTSA) and supporting delivery of the Systematic Assessment of Site Security (SASS) Action Plan.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a senior security management role within a high-footfall, public-facing environment such as a visitor attraction, stadium, airport, shopping centre, or transport hub.
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Proven experience managing outsourced security providers, including rota oversight, performance management, and contractual compliance.
  • Demonstrable experience in incident command, emergency response coordination, and post-incident review processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK security legislation and standards, including the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, and experience supporting the implementation of Public Protection Measures.
  • Experience developing and maintaining emergency procedures, SOPs, and security documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and at all organisational levels.
  • Experience producing structured reports, performance data, and risk registers for senior leadership.
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments, audits, and inspections.
