- Provide a visible and professional security presence across the whole site.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and antisocial behaviour.
- Respond promptly to security alerts and incidents.
- Assist retail and management teams in handling customer incidents in a calm and professional manner.
- Record incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in security logs.
- Review CCTV and investigate possible theft, vandalism and antisocial behaviour as and when required.
- Liaise with local police and emergency services where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company security procedures, policies, and health & safety standards.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or public-facing security role preferred.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and conflict management skills.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
