The Role
To actively assume the role of Christmas elf to create lasting memories for families visiting our Christmas Wonderland whilst ensuring all measures are put into place to protect the health and safety of both customers and staff at all times as well as protecting the Christmas magic. You will be supporting the events team as instructed to welcome families and visitors throughout the Christmas experience and maintaining the role of Christmas elf at all times whilst in costume.
The ideal candidate needs:
- Some acting, performing or experience assuming a different character is desirable
- A positive attitude with a welcoming smile is essential
- To have a love for Christmas and a willingness to protect the Christmas magic at all times
- Some experience in a similar setting will be beneficial; however, full training will be provided
- To be available to work regularly (at least 8 shifts) from 21st November until Christmas Eve
- To want to spread the Christmas magic is essential!
- Must be over 16 on or before 21st November 2026
- Be able to attend one of the open interview dates on 16th & 17th October
- Be available – if successful – to attend an induction and training day, to be confirmed at interview
The Responsibilities
- To consistently act in line with our company values and spreading the Christmas joy
- Ensuring all measures are put into place to protect all customers and staff within the Winter Wonderland experience and in the Santa Room
- Delivering a high standard of Christmas experience and following the scripts given to you
- Ensure all children leave with an appropriate present and a sprinkle of Christmas magic
- Treat all customers and colleagues in a respectful and attentive manner
- Aiding with the positioning of all visitors for photographs as directed in your induction
- Reporting any Health and Safety concerns to the appropriate manager/supervisor
- Treating all company property, fixtures, fittings, machinery etc. with respect and reporting any issues immediately
- Supporting other areas of the business when required
