The Role
As a Children's Play Centre Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning and delivering fun, safe, and memorable experiences for children of various age groups. Your ability to supervise activities, maintain high safety standards, and positively engage with children and families will contribute to the success of the Play Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children in designated play areas, including inflatables and activity zones, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Plan and deliver creative activities and events, such as treasure hunts and arts and crafts suitable for different age groups.
- Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and safety of play areas and equipment, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the inflatables and play equipment, arranging repairs or maintenance where required.
- Administer first aid and respond appropriately to accidents, incidents, or emergencies in accordance with company procedures.
- Support the wider team and undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

- Previous experience working with children in a play, childcare, education, leisure, or similar environment.
- A current First Aid qualification (desirable).
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Safeguarding & Pre-Employment Requirements
As this role involves working with children, safeguarding is a key priority. The successful candidate will be required to:
- Undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Complete safeguarding training and comply with all company safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately in line with company guidelines.
Working Pattern
This role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the Play Centre and will include:
- Regular weekend working.
- Working during school holidays and peak seasonal periods.
- Occasional additional hours to support special events and activities.
- A rota-based schedule, with working hours agreed in advance.
