Debt Recovery Paralegal We’re looking for a Debt Recovery Paralegal to join our growing Legal team. Reporting into the Debt Recovery Manager, the chosen candidate will proactively manage small claims debt litigation from pre-action to conclusion, including enforcement when necessary. “Proactively manage a caseload of small claims debt litigation from pre-action through to conclusion, including enforcement action when necessary. Negotiate settlements using both formal and informal ADR methods. Resolve complaints submitted to CISAS and, where appropriate, submit a defence to CISAS. Handle claims issued against Chess and managed the conduct of these claims. Have a minimum of 1 year debt litigation experience Have a working knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules applicable to Small Claims Basic knowledge of contract law Chess is one of the UK\’s leading independent and trusted technology service providers, employing over 350 skilled people across the UK, supporting over 21,000 UK businesses.
