We’re looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to join our group Finance Team.
Location: Hybrid Working | Business Area: Finance | Salary: Up to £23,000 depending on experience
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this dynamic team includes individuals with a variety of experiences both in accounting practice and industry. They have a real focus on everyone taking ownership of their own role, whilst learning from each other’s experience to support individual personal development.
The Role:
- Coding and posting purchase invoices into Sage 200 and via our AP software
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing the collation of invoices from different sources and distributing for authorisation
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Posting of bank transactions
The Candidate:
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently and successfully perform duties under pressure
- Clear understanding of accounting basics
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of Sage 200 preferred, but not essential
Salary details: Up to £23,000 depending on experience

Working location: This is a home working position with the requirement to work from the Alderley Edge office 1 day per week. Ad-hoc travel to offices within the group and other locations may also be required on occasion.
