Responsibilities

  • Prototype and production assembly of machines to engineering drawings and procedures.
  • Ensure all modifications during the build process are documented and change‑request forms completed.
  • Liaise with production control when kits are incomplete.
  • Modify existing parts using hand tools and basic machine tools such as drills, lathes and mills.
  • Manufacture simple brackets, mounting plates and simple tooling.
  • Check that all work meets quality and technical standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering team to resolve issues during the build.
  • Follow Health and Safety Regulations and related guidelines at all times.
  • Follow all procedures specified in the Quality Manual.
  • Keep all documentation related to your work accurate and up to date in accordance with specified standards.
  • Assist in maintaining the office and workshop in a clean and orderly state and uphold good project housekeeping/6S standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience working in a workshop environment.
  • Must obtain UK Security Clearance.
  • Provide proof of identity, employment history, right to work in the UK and proof of UK residency for at least five years.
