Marketing Assistant (Part-Time, 20 hours)
Role Purpose
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing team to deliver the business strategy by providing administration support and co-ordinating with internal and external stakeholders to support the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and planning internal and external events to include UK and international trade shows along with annual company activities.
- Creation of PowerPoint presentations for internal or external events.
- Support the creation of graphics for marketing materials and trade shows.
- Organise and maintain Sales & Marketing databases to include image libraries and marketing collateral.
- Co-ordinating the update of all marketing materials.
- Maintain marketing stock, such as brochures and branded merchandise.
- Coordination of the Sales and Marketing team diaries.
- Occasional booking of travel for the Sales and Marketing team.
- Provide general support to the marketing team, including minute-taking.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a marketing support role or similar.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work to achieve deadlines.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in marketing, a certificate or diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or equivalent.
