Hearts Kind has a passion for better care in the community. We are actively seeking self-employed carers with experience, knowledge and skills to care and support people to maintain their independence in the safest way possible in the comfort of their own home. We are a platform connecting both self-employed carers and care recipients.
The benefits of working as self-employed include:
- Flexible hours of work
- Very good pay between £14.00 to £17.00 per hour, paid on a weekly basis
- Travel expenses at 45p per mile
- 24-hour support from the Hearts Kind team
Responsibilities include:
- Personal Care
- Dementia Care
- Parkinson's Care
- Multiple Sclerosis Care
- Cerebral Palsy Care
- Preparing Meals and monitoring fluid intake
- Support with mobility and keeping clients safe
- Organising and maintaining a clean and comfortable home
Skills and experience required:
- Knowledge of self-employment
- At least 2 years' experience in care
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of the right to work in the UK
- DBS up to date (can support applying for one if needed)
- Care Certificates/Training can be supported to update
We are looking for full-time and part-time workers, available Monday to Sunday.
Licence/Certification requirements:
- UTR number (required)
- Driving Licence and access to a car
