Manage the delivery and operation of high quality, personalised, costed effective social care provider services through the effective management of resources, supervision of practice, the setting and review of standards and the promotion and participation in joint working with partners and other agencies, in order to achieve desired outcome for those who need help.
Manage the delivery of directly provided services to deliver desired outcomes for service users, meeting regulatory and statutory requirements and enable risks to be effectively managed
Maintain effective budget control, reshaping services as necessary to improve unit costs, whilst delivering flexible and responsive services which meet market demands
Develop and implement options for service provision which are reflective of localised demands in conjunction with relevant partners both within and external to the council and other providers. Source and identify in conjunction with senior managers options for income generation
Manage the performance and quality of services, including people and processes, identifying and implementing changes to enhance service delivery in an ever-changing market
Embrace, implement and embed change within the service, engage and empower team members through the development of a culture of flexibility , continuous improvement and innovation
Instigate and develop communications with individual and strategic commissioners, local partners, council colleagues, agencies and providers to coordinate and integrate social care services with the local community.
Propose, develop and implement plans for the promotion and marketing of social care provision within the local area to develop awareness and stimulate demand.
