We are establishing a pioneering Supported Employment Service within Adult Social Care, and we are seeking a dynamic Team Leader to help shape its strategic direction. This is a unique opportunity to influence system-wide change and drive forward a bold new approach to inclusive employment for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.

In this leadership role, you will play a central part in developing and expanding our Inclusive Employment Charter—building strong, meaningful partnerships with local employers and championing inclusive recruitment, accessible workplaces, and sustainable career pathways. You will work strategically to co-design training academies and progression routes that prepare individuals for the world of work, ensuring they have access to high-quality learning, skill development, and hands-on experience that reflect their aspirations.
A key part of your role will be forging collaborative partnerships across community settings, day services, and voluntary-sector organisations to create innovative, creative opportunities that support people to move closer to employment. You will guide the team to identify and develop personalised pathways—combining your strategic insight with a commitment to person-centred practice.
