We are seeking full-time Residential Children’s Care Workers to work in our Children’s Homes in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Winsford, and Northwich. Cheshire West and Chester’s Residential service aims to meet the needs of its most vulnerable children and maximize their life chances to help them achieve their full potential and positive outcomes.

In the coming years, the Council plans to expand its quality services by opening new homes. Our Children and Families team works in a trauma-informed way using the innovative multi-agency partnership model ‘Our Way of Working’.

To qualify, you should hold a Level Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent and have experience supporting vulnerable children and young people, along with supervisory skills. We will provide training and support to develop your skills further. You should be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative working.
