Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced project delivery professional to support Children’s Social Care in establishing new residential schemes and facilities.

The successful candidate will manage significant projects involving capital delivery and technical social care components as part of the Children in Care and Care Leavers Accommodation Programme.

This temporary role involves leading projects focused on establishing residential children’s homes and innovative inter-agency schemes to reduce demand and improve outcomes for children in Cheshire West.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing projects to ensure delivery within budget, quality standards, timeframe, and cost savings.
  2. Coordinating with external suppliers and providers for procurement and tracking spend against budgets.
  3. Collaborating with Senior Managers and Programme Managers on project dependencies and documentation.
  4. Assisting in drafting formal and technical documentation such as Ofsted reports and planning applications.
  5. Supporting the planning, design, development, and monitoring of technical and business standards and policies.
  6. Providing regular progress updates and management information.

We seek a motivated, multi-tasking communicator with capital delivery experience and knowledge of Children’s Social Care.
