Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and making a positive impact on children's lives? If so, Underwood West Academy has an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for an individual who can promote the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of every child within our nursery. You will be working in our Early Years area, which provides our children with a new outdoor learning environment, a refurbished indoor learning space, and a supportive, experienced EYFS Teaching team.
The successful candidate will work with colleagues in the nursery to create a stimulating, safe, and caring teaching and learning environment.
Key responsibilities:- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children placed in the setting.
- To work as part of a team, providing an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop, and learn.
- To build and maintain strong partnerships by working with parents to ensure their child/children's needs are met.
- Working under the guidance of the teacher, the successful postholder will also be responsible for key responsibilities as described in the Job Description provided.
- An excellent practitioner keen to work in a supportive and principle-based nursery.
- Committed to teamwork, recognizing that more can be achieved together than as an individual.
- Highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, holding the strong expectation that all staff share this commitment.
- The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual qualified (or soon to be qualified) to a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Care and Education or a similar field.
