An opportunity has arisen with the Technology department for a Design and Technology Technician grade 6 to include class cover for staff absence. This technician will join a strong team with outstanding results.

The successful candidate will provide support for students and staff to ensure that practical lessons run smoothly, enabling students to thrive. The Technician will support the teaching of Technology.

The technician will prepare materials for use by pupils and staff and aid in the research and purchase of materials and components for pupils’ practical work; maintaining accurate records of ordering as requested.

The technician should have good time management, organisational and planning skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. They should communicate well and liaise with all levels of staff and pupils, and be flexible in order to tackle a range of routine duties.
