The governors at Acresfield Academy are looking to appoint an excellent higher level teaching assistant to join our school. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a dedicated, forward-thinking team.

The post is a temporary position for a year for 2 days a week. We are looking to appoint a member of staff to cover teachers' PPA or leadership time. You will need to have experience of teaching whole classes and demonstrate a secure understanding of what helps children to thrive both academically and personally. We are looking for someone who can encourage our children to thrive in a nurturing and calm environment.

The successful candidate will need to show they are a flexible, team player with excellent communication skills. You will be joining a hardworking and highly successful staff team, who prioritise support for each other with wellbeing at the forefront of our work.

The school is part of North West Academies Trust, a highly successful Trust, who provide support and lots of opportunities for an individual's professional development. This is a great opportunity to join a successful school and provide our children with an excellent education.
