Winsford High Street Community Primary School is a thriving, welcoming three form entry Local Authority maintained primary school judged as “Good” by Ofsted in February 2023. The Governors are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to teach in KS2 as maternity cover.

The successful candidate will be a high-quality classroom teacher who enjoys working as part of a team and is willing to play a role in the extended community of the school. Although all candidates are welcome to apply, we are particularly looking for a teacher with a love of the teaching of reading and writing and highly developed skills in delivering a creative curriculum.

Applications should be submitted before 9.00am on Thursday 25th June 2026 for shortlisting that day. Successful candidates will be asked to attend Interviews which will be carried out face-to-face at the school on Monday 29th June 2026.
