Class Teacher Full Time. Starting In September 2026. 1-year temporary contract initially. MPS M1 – M6.
The Headteacher and Governors of Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School wish to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic class teacher who has the drive, vision, energy and commitment to join their hardworking and passionate team. We welcome applications from ECTs and more experienced teachers. The post will be to teach in KS1 or KS2.
We are looking to appoint an individual who:

- Has knowledge and understanding of what constitutes excellent provision and outcomes for pupils;
- Has comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum;
- Demonstrates high expectations of individual achievement and behaviour;

- Demonstrates a commitment to raising standards;
- Is able to work in close partnership with the whole Trust community.

Tours around the school will be held on: Thursday 21st May at 4.00pm or Wednesday 3rd June 2026 at 1.30pm. Closing date: 4.00pm on Friday 5th June. Interviews week beginning 8th June 2026.
