The opportunity has arisen to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic teacher, who can make a valid contribution to our already hardworking and dedicated team. The Governors are looking to appoint a truly ‘purple person’, rather than looking for a practitioner for a particular year group. As such, applications are welcomed from applicants with experience across both key stage 1 and key stage 2.
The successful candidate, in addition to being an outstanding practitioner, would ideally be able to offer leadership of a subject across the school. The Arches is an accredited nurture school with a high number of children with additional needs.
Experience of:
- managing additional adults in the classroom to maximise the adaptations to support children with SEND;
- working with neurodiverse children;
- the use of trauma informed approaches are essential.

Safeguarding our pupils is the highest priority and therefore candidates will be subject to stringent vetting and induction procedures. This is a temporary position to start on 1st September 2026 until 31st August 2027, with a view to being extended.
