Year 5 & 6 Class Teacher Vacancy Required for September 2026
Part time: 3 days per week (Monday-Wednesday) 1-year fixed term contract with a view to becoming permanent Scale: M3-M5
The Governors of Alvanley and Manley Village School are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated class teacher to join our small teaching team from September 2026. The successful candidate will be based at our Alvanley site in our Year 5&6 mixed class for 2 and a half days a week, as well as covering half a day per week in our mixed Year 3 & 4 class.
Alvanley and Manley Village School is a small village primary school split across two sites, with Infants based at our Manley site, and juniors at our Alvanley site. We offer a nurturing environment for all of our children, and a dedicated staff team. We expect our children to be kind, respectful and hard-working, and have high aspirations. We place the children at the heart of everything we do, and commitment and flexibility are key to our success.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
