The Headteacher and Governors of this small and friendly Church of England primary school would like to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced KS2 teacher to join our team to cover the maternity leave for our Year 5 & 6 class. The post is for 3 days from 1st September 2026 until 28th May 2027, ideally with a handover period at the beginning of September 2026.
The post would be best suited to a teacher who has experience in Year 6 and who has a high level of commitment ensuring that all children flourish. The salary will be negotiable dependant on experience.
We can offer enthusiastic, well-behaved pupils and the chance to be part of a motivated, supportive and hardworking team, who are committed to maintaining and raising standards for all pupils across the school.
Candidates will be required to present proof of identity prior to interview. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, and any appointment would be subject to satisfactory references.
As part of the interview process shortlisted candidates will be required to teach the Year 5 & 6 class. Closing date for applications is Friday June 26th at 12pm. Interviews will take place week beginning 6th July.
