The Governors at Acresfield Academy wish to appoint a Site Maintenance Officer to join our successful team. The post is for 32 hours a week for five days a week for a total of 43 weeks a year. We are a one form entry primary school in Chester, with a supportive community of children, parents and staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated Site Maintenance Officer to join our friendly team as soon as possible. You will be responsible for:
- Building security [registered key holder]
- General maintenance work and repairs
- Health and safety issues relating to the building
- Liaison with contractors
- Porterage duties
- Oversight of cleaning
Good communication, interpersonal and DIY skills are essential. The successful applicant must be able to maintain the school building and its grounds to a high standard and be able to work on their own initiative.
Our school community places the highest priority on keeping children safe. Candidates will be subject to references, stringent vetting and an Enhanced DBS disclosure. All appointments are subject to receipt of satisfactory references.
