“We do things differently here.” At Axis Academy, everything we do is rooted in relationships, understanding need, and refusing to give up on young people for whom education has not yet worked. Guided by the YES Trust values, we are child‑centred, relational, and adaptive to need.

Our Horizon Pathway is our KS3 alternative curriculum offer, designed for learners who are working significantly below age‑related expectations, often as a result of disrupted education, unmet need and complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) profiles. Horizon is about rebuilding trust, re‑engaging learners and creating meaningful progress—academically, socially and emotionally—by doing things differently.

We are seeking a creative, resilient and values‑driven person who can deliver Maths, English and Science in flexible, innovative ways while building strong, authentic relationships with our pupils.
