Applications are invited for the full-time permanent post of Deputy Pastoral Leader required to start as soon as possible.

Salary Range: £22,781-£24,281

Permanent 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Due to the continued growth of the Academy, Trustees/Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced professional as a permanent Deputy Pastoral Leader. Over the past five years, significant investment and growth has occurred within our pastoral care provision to fulfil the needs of all stakeholders.

The successful post holder will work within the current Year 10 team, with responsibility for the Year group. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, having responsibilities which include:

  • Management of pupil behaviour to Academy standards
  • Liaison with parents/carers, staff, and outside agencies

They will work closely with Pastoral Leaders but will have the initiative and drive to work independently when required, using Academy policies and guidance for direction. Good IT skills are essential, and knowledge and experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage.
