Wrenbury Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a temporary, full-time role from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027 with a view to a permanent role from September 2027.

This is a varied role which involves working with children and parents/carers from across the school, supporting the admin officer and senior leadership team.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a good level of competency within ICT
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer
  • Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Be highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team
  • Have the ability to act on their own initiative
  • Be committed to the vision and values of our school
  • Have a child-centred approach to their work
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels (with children, staff and parents/carers)
  • Have a good sense of humour and a hardworking ethos
  • Be able to present as a positive role model
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children and maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Be able to work independently but also as part of a team
