The Governors of Saughall All Saints C of E Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual with relevant financial and administrative experience for the role, to start as soon as possible. If you have experience working in a school office environment or can bring strong transferable administrative and finance skills from another professional setting, we would welcome your application.
Our school is seeking a highly organised and reliable individual to support the effective management of finance and administration within the school office. Working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager and wider staff team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of school administration and financial processes. We are therefore looking for someone who is motivated, flexible and able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- Experience and skills in administration and financial processes;
- A high level of IT literacy (knowledge of systems including Microsoft Office, Arbor, online payment systems and Local Authority systems would be desirable);
- Good financial and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and support budget monitoring;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils, governors and external stakeholders;
- A proactive and flexible approach, with good time management, problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- A commitment to the vision and values of the school.
