Cheshire Constabulary is looking for a part‑time Victim and Witness Hub Team Leader to join the Witness Care team based at Runcorn Police Station on a 12‑month temporary contract.

Role type: Police Staff – Fixed Term – Full Time (part‑time)

Contract duration: 12 months

Hours per week: 22.2

Salary: £30,333 - £32,613 pro‑rata

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team within the Victim and Witness Services Department to ensure effective contact with victims and witnesses in criminal cases.
  • Support the team to maintain contact and provide a support service for victims and witnesses to improve their confidence and satisfaction level.
  • Minimise the number of trials hampered by ineffective witnesses.
