Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and experienced Special Sergeant or a Special Constable looking for promotion to provide frontline leadership within our Special Constabulary. This role supports community policing, supervises Special Constables on duty, looks after the welfare and growth of a team and plays a key part in delivering safe, effective and visible policing. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational experience and a commitment to serving the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Special Constables.
- Lead teams at community events, planned operations and emergency incidents.
- Deliver clear tasking, briefings and debriefings for duty teams.
- Support operational planning and ensure effective deployment of Special officers.

- Experience as a Special Constable/Sergeant, achieving Independent Patrol Status.
- Proven leadership ability and strong communication skills.
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and policing procedures.
