An exciting opportunity has become available to work within Environmental Operations. The position is for 37 hours per week. About the Role
- To undertake a wide range of vehicles and plant servicing, fault diagnosis and defect rectification, using specialised equipment associated with Fleet operations to meet the requirements and legal responsibilities.
- To inspect and test vehicles to VOSA, MOT and Taxi Licensing standards.
About you
- Level 3 City & Guilds Craft apprenticeship.
- LOLER competent.
- VOSA certified MOT Tester Levels 4 & 5 (refreshed 5 yearly).
- Experience on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Good knowledge of maths and English for completion of duties including timesheets and Service sheets.
- Technical experience and competence in a range of vehicles from small agricultural plant to LGVs used within the service.
