An exciting opportunity has become available to work within Environmental Operations. The position is for 37 hours per week. About the Role

  • To undertake a wide range of vehicles and plant servicing, fault diagnosis and defect rectification, using specialised equipment associated with Fleet operations to meet the requirements and legal responsibilities.
  • To inspect and test vehicles to VOSA, MOT and Taxi Licensing standards.

About you

  • Level 3 City & Guilds Craft apprenticeship.
  • LOLER competent.
  • VOSA certified MOT Tester Levels 4 & 5 (refreshed 5 yearly).
  • Experience on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
  • Good knowledge of maths and English for completion of duties including timesheets and Service sheets.
  • Technical experience and competence in a range of vehicles from small agricultural plant to LGVs used within the service.
