An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Facilities Management department as a Building Support Officer. The position is for 1 full‑time equivalent (37 hours) per week on a Monday‑Friday pattern.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Building Support Supervisor for security, meeting room management, civic events, and reception duties.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained at the CEC main corporate building in Macclesfield.
- Provide basic IT support where required.
- Liaise with contractors to ensure buildings are opened and closed in accordance with corporate policy.
- Perform portering duties, such as delivering parcels to relevant departments and staff.
