An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the building cleaning team as a Refreshment Assistant at Delamere House in Crewe. The position is for 32 hours per week over a Monday to Friday working pattern, working between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

The role involves providing a refreshment provision to meetings in the building, loading and unloading the dishwasher, filling trolleys, cleaning kitchens, meeting rooms, emptying bins, and any other areas that may be required throughout the day.

About you:

  • Evidence of previous cleaning experience
  • Ability to read and write and carry out basic calculations in order to read instructions and write messages
  • Use of initiative
  • Good timekeeper
  • Ability to work in a team and work alone when needed
  • Ability to push trolleys, lift and carry buckets of water, bags of rubbish, vacuums, and chairs
  • Ability to stand and bend and able to comply with H&S requirements

The role will include undertaking cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas (which may include toilets and shower areas) and fixtures and fittings, using, where appropriate, powered equipment. It will involve following a daily/weekly cleaning schedule.
