An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Adults Commissioning Team. The job role is 37 hours per week between the hours of 08.30 and 18.00.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with complex needs providers and become familiar with services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other teams across adult social care including the wider commissioning team, operations, brokerage and housing teams, and health partners.
  • Understand the provider market and maintain appropriate records of services, updating systems as necessary.
  • Plan and organise market engagement events with appropriate providers and wider stakeholders including people who access services and their carers.
  • Provide statistical or other information to the Commissioning Team using systems such as Liquid Logic and CareCubed.
  • Ensure that Cheshire East Council records are up to date and accurate on data management systems.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • The ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
  • A high degree of interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to converse at ease with internal and external partners.
  • A flexible approach to work; the position operates on a hybrid basis, combining home working with office-based duties.
  • Knowledge and experience from working across either children's or adults services, or have previously worked within either a contracting or commissioning role.
