About the role
An exciting opportunity within the Regulatory Services and Health Team. The role is 1.0 FTE (37 hours a week) based in our Crewe offices. It involves offering frontline initial contact with businesses and members of the public, providing specialist information and advice as appropriate by telephone and email. You will undertake purchasing and invoicing for the Regulatory Services team and maintain up-to-date records of expenditure and income in line with policy and procedures. The role provides administrative support for licences and approvals within Environmental Health, Licensing, Animal Health and Welfare, and Trading Standards services, and you will provide accurate data for statutory returns, performance monitoring and customer satisfaction. The role also requires developing proficiency in the team’s bespoke management information system and providing support to officers within the team as required.
About you
- IT/Administration-based knowledge and experience, including working knowledge of Microsoft products and applications.
- High level of numeracy and literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to support customers and provide clear, accurate advice and guidance.
- Ability to prioritise personal workload and contribute to team working.
