An exciting opportunity to work within Customer Care in the Bereavement Services department, based at Crewe Cemetery Office, for 0.61 FTE (22.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, shifts 10:00–14:30).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception, clerical, and administrative support within a multi‑agency Streetscape and Bereavement Service.
- Ensure administrative processes related to the work of the team are effectively and efficiently delivered.
- Deliver a high standard of service, demonstrating compassion and dedication to people in Cheshire East and surrounding areas.
- Work effectively with IT to ensure compliance with legislation and accurate record production.
Key Qualifications
- Empathy, compassion and a willingness to go above and beyond.
- A high degree of interpersonal skills.
- The ability to converse at ease with external customers, ranging from Funeral Directors to individuals and families.
- A flexible approach to work.
- Understanding of IT software such as a range of Microsoft 365 products and the ability to adapt to new systems.
