Role Overview
Our new Director of People will contribute to the leadership of the council and lead the council’s strategic thinking on workforce issues. You will develop effective ways of implementing modern people management strategies and good practice, and you will also lead on the design, development, and implementation of the council’s strategic approach to the customer experience. This is a new role in our new structure, which reflects our focus on people and you will ensure that we support colleagues and also put customers at the heart of the changes being made at the council. Our staff are our greatest asset and we need to enable and develop them as we create a council and a culture that is fit for the future.
