This is an excellent opportunity to join Cheshire East’s Highways team at an exciting time. We manage the council’s Highway Service Contract, working collaboratively with our service provider to improve highway services in the borough. As a Contract Quantity Surveyor, you’ll join an energetic and committed team focused on delivering successful contract management to provide assurance on the quality and value of the highway service provided, and involves commercial management on a range of schemes and programmes of work.
We’re looking for experienced highways professionals who have excellent communication skills, being able to explain complex information concisely to a wide range of people. Most of all, you’ll thrive on getting the job done as part of a team and can deliver under pressure. You will develop effective audit and assurance processes that make sure we pay for services correctly. Professional and confident, you will be proficient in managing large amounts of information to identify the important facts and act upon them.
