We are looking for an experienced HGV mechanic who is a team player and can service and repair HGVs to MOT standard. We require someone reliable, flexible, hardworking, and able to communicate effectively, with a strong commitment to Health & Safety.
Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 7:00am - 5:00pm. Occasional Saturdays may be required.
Negotiable depending on experience.
- Report all vehicle defects to the garage manager.
- Conduct safety inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs to the highest standards.
- Perform thorough inspections following DVSA guidelines.
- Complete safety inspection sheets and job write-ups using provided tablets.
- Proven experience as an HGV mechanic.
- Current driving licence essential; HGV licence beneficial but not essential.
