We are recruiting for the role of Assistant Procurement and Contracts Officer in the Commercial Unit within Legal Services to support and maintain low‑value procurement and contract management processes at Cheshire Constabulary.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain low‑value procurement and contract management processes.
  • Seek value for money, maintain supplier relationships and performance‑manage suppliers.
  • Provide advice on Force purchasing and contract activity.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to level 4 in a procurement or business‑related subject, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in purchasing and procurement across technology, finance, estates, and human resources environments.
  • Customer‑facing role experience and ability to collate and present information.
  • Ambitious and committed, with a desire to grow within a supportive and experienced team.
