Key Responsibilities
Support can include;
- Note-taking, demonstrating;
- Explaining in steps how to do a task set by the teacher;
- Joining college trips to support learners;
- Meeting and greeting a learner to help them into College and to their lessons;
- Using support strategies to keep a learner / learners focused on their learning; and
- Creating or making adaptions to materials to help the learner access their learning / environment.
Key Person Specification Requirements
- Level 2 qualification (or equivalent);
- GCSE Grade C (4 / 5) in Maths and English (or equivalent);
- Good working knowledge and understanding of a wide range of additional needs and strategies to support them;
- Excellent organisational and digital literacy skills; and
- Enhanced DBS check.
