Deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment in pipefitting up to Level 3, both in the workplace and in the classroom. Support learner progress through assessment in the workplace and curriculum delivery. Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards. Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons in line with college policies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment in pipefitting up to Level 3 in workplace and classroom settings.
  • Support learner progress through assessment and curriculum delivery in the workplace.
  • Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in line with college policies.

Key Person Specification Requirements

  • Level 3+ vocational qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Industry relevant pipefitting experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Assessor qualification (or commitment to work towards).
  • Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements.
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
  • Experience of working in further education.
  • Up-to-date occupational experience.
  • This role will be based across multiple sites and therefore a full current driving licence, use of a car and insurance for business purposes are essential to this role.
