The predicted salary is between 48000 - 84000 Β£ per year.
This is a unique opportunity to join Cheshire Cardiology, a very friendly, independent, Specialist-led cardiology referral service in the north of England. We are seeking either a part-time or full-time enthusiastic ACVIM/ECVIM-CA board-certified cardiologist or board-eligible candidate to join us at our new premises. We would also consider a cardiology certificate candidate or certificate holder.
You will be supported by a RCVS Specialist in veterinary cardiology, 2 cardiology clinicians, 1 cardiology intern, practice administrators and a team of experienced nurses, including a VTS in anaesthesia. The ideal candidate will have a love of cardiology, will hold a passion for teaching and should be a team player.

- We are fully equipped in our state-of-the-art purpose-built building. Equipment includes a GE Vivid E95 with transoesophageal probe and 4D capability, Vivid iQ and Vivid Q, Echopac workstation, Philips Zenition 50 fluoroscopy C-arm, Beneheart D3 and D6 defibrillators, external pacing equipment and a full range of the usual cardiology equipment.
- We have a varied and interesting caseload and are proudly independent.
- We offer a busy cardiology referral service including interventional cardiology.
- We are passionate about clinical research therefore can be flexible for the right candidate.
- Although ECVIM-CA or ACVIM cardiology boarded is preferable, we would consider those who have completed a residency training programme.
- We would also consider Advanced Practitioners in veterinary cardiology, experienced cardiology certificate holders or cardiology certificate candidates.
We are located close to Manchester and Liverpool airports, with close links to the M6, M56 and M62 motorways. The Peak District, Lake District, Scottish borders and beautiful North Wales coastline are all nearby.
Teamwork is critical at Cheshire Cardiology and a healthy work-life balance with flexible working is prioritised. We are flexible and would consider a job share or flexible working to suit. Terms and conditions are negotiable.
