Position Overview

Chesamel Group is seeking an experienced Marketing and Proposals Development Consultant to support our organisation on an ad hoc basis, responding to demands from our capability/pillar leads across Workforce, Digital, Marketing, and Sustainable Transformation. This flexible consultancy role will provide specialist expertise in proposals development and marketing strategy as required by our various divisions, including Modern (our in-house agency) and The Sybarite brand.

The consultant will work dynamically across our pillars, providing targeted support for high-priority proposals and marketing initiatives that align with our strategic growth objectives across Construction, Technology, Energy, Banking and Finance, Hospitality, Education, Retail, and Healthcare sectors.

Engagement Model

This is an ad hoc consultancy position that will be activated based on:

  • Specific requests from capability/pillar leads
  • High-value proposal opportunities requiring specialist input
  • Strategic marketing initiatives across transformation pillars
  • Cross-pillar projects requiring integrated marketing and proposals expertise
  • Peak periods of proposal activity or marketing campaign development

Key ResponsibilitiesProposals Development Support

  • Provide rapid-response proposal development expertise when requested by pillar leads
  • Develop compelling proposals for Workforce, Digital, Marketing, and Sustainable Transformation opportunities
  • Create tailored value propositions that integrate capabilities across multiple pillars
  • Support urgent proposal submissions with expert writing and strategic positioning
  • Develop reusable proposal content aligned to each pillar\’s service offerings
  • Conduct proposal reviews and provide quality assurance for high-stakes opportunities
  • Train internal teams on proposal best practices during engagements

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop pillar-specific marketing strategies on request from capability leads
  • Create targeted marketing materials for each transformation pillar
  • Support the Marketing pillar with specialist expertise for complex campaigns
  • Design integrated marketing approaches that showcase cross-pillar capabilities
  • Develop thought leadership content for Sustainable Transformation initiatives
  • Create digital marketing strategies that support the Digital pillar\’s offerings
  • Produce workforce-focused marketing content for talent acquisition services

Cross-Pillar Integration

  • Facilitate collaboration between pillars for integrated proposals
  • Develop marketing strategies that leverage synergies across all four pillars
  • Create unified messaging frameworks that maintain pillar distinctiveness
  • Support the decision maker and capability matching matrix across pillars
  • Assist in developing pursuit strategies that combine multiple pillar capabilities

Required QualificationsExperience

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing and proposals development
  • Proven track record in professional services or management consulting environments
  • Experience working with multiple service lines or capability areas simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success in winning complex, transformation-focused proposals
  • Background in at least two of: workforce solutions, digital transformation, marketing services, or sustainability consulting
  • Experience in GCC/MENA region preferred

Technical Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in rapid proposal development and turnaround
  • Advanced skills in creating marketing materials across diverse technical domains
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools for remote working
  • Strong understanding of transformation consulting methodologies
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts across different pillars
  • Proficiency in proposal management platforms and marketing tools

Core Competencies

  • Exceptional ability to work independently and self-manage across multiple briefs
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent requests with varying scopes
  • Strong commercial acumen to understand different pillar business models
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent time management for juggling multiple pillar demands
  • Adaptability to switch between different subject matters efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification in marketing (CIM) or proposal management (APMP)
  • Experience in management consulting or professional services marketing
  • Understanding of workforce strategy, digital transformation, and sustainability trends
  • Previous experience in ad hoc or fractional consultancy roles
  • Knowledge of the Qatar/GCC business environment
