Company Description

We are a dynamic and agile collective of experts dedicated to driving transformative growth and creating bespoke solutions for forward-thinking businesses. By leveraging human ingenuity, advanced technology, and shared beliefs, we challenge conventional thinking to deliver innovative and impactful outcomes. Our collaborative approach fuels positive change and innovation, bringing lasting value to our clients and partners.

The Role

We are looking for a Workforce Operations Manager who can lead three critical functions: a high-performing talent acquisition operation, people performance and development, and workforce-related operational support. This is a hands‑on leadership role sitting at the intersection of people strategy and day-to-day workforce delivery. You will work closely with the Leadership team — including the Chief Client Officer and pillar leads — to ensure that people strategy, talent pipeline, and operational processes are aligned and functioning at pace. You will be both a hands‑on operator and a strategic thinker — comfortable in a client‑facing consultancy environment where standards are high and things move fast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Onboarding
  • Own end‑to‑end recruitment across all functions — from defining briefs with hiring managers to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Maintain a high‑quality candidate experience at all times, from first contact through to offer
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline across Chesamel's key delivery disciplines — Workforce, Digital, Marketing, and Sustainable Transformation
  • Partner with the bench management and Discoverwork processes to ensure fractional, embedded, and direct talent is sourced effectively
  • Track and report on time‑to‑hire, quality‑of‑hire, and pipeline health metrics
  • Workforce Operations
    • Support the smooth running of workforce‑related operational processes — including onboarding, offboarding, and contractor/supplier coordination where it relates to people delivery
    • Maintain accurate workforce data, records, and documentation in line with compliance requirements
    • Assist in coordinating people‑related inputs into ELT governance rhythms — including workforce updates and people metrics for the monthly Board Pack
    • Identify and flag process inefficiencies within the workforce function, supporting improvements that enhance team experience and delivery quality

    Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in a people‑related and/or operations role — spanning some combination of talent acquisition, HR, people management, and operational delivery
    • Experience in a consultancy, professional services, or fast‑growth environment is strongly preferred
    • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of multiple workstreams without direct team support
    • Exposure to international talent or multi‑entity structures (UK, MENA, or similar) is a plus

    Skills & Attributes

    • Excellent communicator — able to engage credibly with senior leaders and candidates alike
    • Highly organised with strong attention to process and detail
    • Commercially astute — understands how people and operations connect to business performance
    • Comfortable working at pace in an environment that is ambitious and evolving
    • Collaborative and solutions‑oriented; not precious about scope
    • Discrete and professional in handling sensitive people matters
