The Team: Chesamel has a large team of marketing experts delivering on client projects across the globe, ranging from fully integrated and embedded consultancy to ad-hoc on demand project delivery. You will be joining a collective focused on delivering excellent client servicing while leading business transformation for our clients.
The Role: The Startup Campaign Manager will own the central marketing playbook and "Bill of Materials" (BOM) for regional startup initiatives across EMEA. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between global strategy and local execution, working closely with priority markets to ensure campaigns are effectively localised. The successful candidate will be responsible for incorporating local customer success stories and regional nuances into a cohesive marketing engine that resonates with the high-growth startup ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities- Campaign Strategy and Asset Development: Develop, maintain, and evangelise the central "Bill of Materials" (BOM) and marketing playbook for all regional startup-focused campaigns. Create a scalable framework for campaign execution that can be adopted by local teams while maintaining core global messaging. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of campaign assets, from initial creative briefing to final brand approval and distribution.
- Regional Localisation and Execution: Act as the primary point of contact for local marketing teams in priority EMEA markets, providing guidance on campaign implementation and best practices. Lead the localisation process, ensuring messaging is culturally relevant, linguistically accurate, and tailored to the specific maturity of local startup ecosystems. Partner with local teams to identify, capture, and integrate powerful local customer stories into central campaign materials to drive peer-to-peer credibility. Ensure a high standard of quality and brand consistency across all touchpoints, from digital assets to physical event collateral.
- Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product Marketing, PR, and Sales, to align startup campaigns with broader business objectives. Manage relationships with external creative and translation agencies to deliver high-quality localised assets on schedule and within budget. Facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions with regional leads to gather market insights and feedback to inform future iterations of the marketing playbook. Work closely with the "Startup Campaign" team to ensure a unified approach to the startup audience in the London hub.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B campaign management, preferably within a Tech, SaaS, or high-growth startup environment.
- BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in localising complex marketing campaigns across multiple cultural and linguistic contexts within the EMEA region.
- Demonstrable track record of working effectively with cross-functional and international teams in a matrixed environment.
- Good understanding of the startup and Venture Capital ecosystem in EMEA, including knowledge of key industry trends and founder pain points.
- Great project management skills, with experience managing multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong storytelling and content creation abilities, with a specific focus on developing compelling customer case studies.
- Experience in measuring campaign performance and leveraging insights to optimise the "Bill of Materials" for future growth.
