The Team
Chesamel has a large team of marketing experts delivering on client projects across the globe, ranging from fully integrated and embedded consultancy to ad-hoc on demand project delivery. You will be joining a collective focused on delivering excellent client servicing while leading business transformation for our clients.
Details about the role:
This role is part of the continued evolution of our clients Cloud EMEA social media model, where local social media managers are embedded into country teams to improve ownership, quality and performance. This UK-based Junior-Associate role, you will work in close collaboration with agencies, supporting the execution of the UK social media channel while also playing a broader role across EMEA. In addition to supporting UK social execution, you will bring strong copywriting and visual content skills. Must be London based.
Core Responsibilities:
- UK Social Content Execution: Work in partnership with Jellyfish to plan, create and execute social media content for the UK channel, aligned with EMEA strategy and global brand guidelines. (35%)
- Social-First Copywriting & Content Adaptation: Create and adapt high-quality social media copy from blogs, campaigns, product updates and long-form content into engaging, platform-native posts. (20%)
- Visual Asset Selection & Optimisation: Select, edit and optimise visual assets for social media, ensuring correct formatting, resolution and platform best practice. (15%)
- EMEA Vendor Craft Support: Support EMEA social media vendors by providing guidance on copywriting, asset usage and content adaptation to improve localisation quality and speed to post. (10%)
- Community Management & Engagement: Manage social media communities for the UK channel, fostering engagement and conversation. (10%)
- Performance Analysis & Optimisation: Analyse social media performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimisation. (5%)
- EMEA Social Team Contribution: Participate in EMEA social team meetings and rituals, acting as a reference point for social content craft and best practice. (5%)
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience (3-6 years) in social media management, ideally within B2B tech
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to translate long-form content into engaging social posts
- Experience using design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma or similar) to edit and optimise images for social
- Strong understanding of image resolution, formatting and platform best practices
- Experience working alongside agencies on social content execution
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Ability to work independently and support others with best practice guidance
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-3 years experience working across multiple markets or regional teams
- Experience supporting distributed vendor or agency teams
- Understanding of localisation challenges in social media
- Experience in B2B storytelling and technical content translation into social
