We are seeking a Senior Commercial Marketing Manager for a contract role based on-site in Greater London. In this position, you will develop and implement strategic marketing plans, support sales and business development efforts, and oversee marketing projects from initiation to completion. Additionally, you will lead negotiations to secure key partnerships and ensure the seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
The role involves:
- A senior, commercially driven and client-facing role leading Chesamel’s marketing capability on the front line.
- Translating client business ambition into integrated marketing programmes, owning client outcomes, growing account revenue, and representing the capability in market.
- Owning a portfolio of marketing clients end-to-end — accountable for retention, expansion, margin and outcome delivery.
- Leading senior client relationships from initial engagement through to long-term partnership, working with other Chesamel capability leads where integrated solutions create value.
- Translating client business problems into integrated marketing solutions across brand, content, demand generation, partnerships and creative.
- Driving commercial growth: identifying expansion opportunities, leading pricing and scoping conversations, and contributing directly to the new business pipeline.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in Market Planning and Marketing, with a strong ability to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives.
- Sales acumen and a track record of driving business growth through targeted sales efforts.
- Experience in Project Management, with the ability to oversee and deliver complex projects effectively.
- Previous experience in a senior commercial or marketing role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
