Chesamel Group is searching for an Account Manager on behalf of our client, a unique, tight knit brand agency.
The Team
Our client is a brand and communications agency in Central London that helps insurance businesses create immediate impact and sustainable growth. This is a truly unique agency, a small team who work closely together and care deeply about their clients and each other. The team work together across brand, creative campaigns, PR and content, website design and build, and multi-channel campaign management for their clients. They have a focus on client excellence - no cutting corners or having to hard sell to upsell service.
They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the team. You will be working closely with the Account Director, creatives and the partners in order to ensure excellent high quality campaigns for clients. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and to manage the client relationship end-to-end. We are looking for candidates with meticulous attention to detail, who put the client first. Experience working in a smaller agency or startup will be advantageous.
What you’ll be doing:
- As an experienced Account handler, you’ll have both the account management skills and the project management skills to be able to build strong client relationships.
- You’ll be driving projects through with the help of your brilliant and talented colleagues.
- You’ll be acting as the client’s representative within the organisation and representative with the client.
- Being a catalyst for development of client marketing activity and ensuring that projects meet their full potential.
- Actively being involved in the clients’ business and being an advocate for growth and potential.
- Be a storyteller. You’ll have the confidence, personality and persuasion skills to hold your own and push for what’s in the client’s interest.
- To effectively take and write comprehensive briefs for new projects from the client and communicating these to the creative team effectively.
- Be Commercial. Ability to track revenue targets and develop estimates.
- Seek out new business opportunities, contributing to new business initiatives and pitches.
- Working in close collaboration with colleagues in order to form an effective client team.
- Liaising with designers, and external digital suppliers in the production cycle to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Providing relevant information for billing each month (fees and 3rd party costs).
- Assisting in the preparing of cost estimates/proposals, timing plans, contact reports, status reports etc to meet deadlines for the various campaign elements.
- Contributing to the production of excellent case studies on project completion and where possible to gather effective data / client testimonials to demonstrate the effectiveness of the work.
- Attend client meetings, process minutes of meetings if required, follow up with written proposals etc.
What you’ll bring:
- Substantial agency experience as an Account Executive or Manager.
- Minimum of five years of experience in client servicing or account management.
- Experience using project management systems to manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with creative partners and proficiency in creating creative briefs.
- Solution-focused approach and willingness to take accountability for ensuring team members deliver assigned work.
- Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Highly motivated, committed, dynamic, and able to use independent initiative.
- Confident, personable, and able to build relationships easily.
- Understanding and belief in the value of marketing.
- Professional services background is an advantage.
