OMODA Motors is a new brand built by Chery Group, a leading Chinese automobile company. OMODA operates independently from other Chery Group brands, covering R&D, production and sales of passenger cars.
Position Overview
The Sales Support Specialist is a key contributor to the success of the sales team and dealership network, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and enhancing sales processes. This role involves overseeing sales operations, coordinating with various departments, managing administrative responsibilities, and providing essential support to help the team achieve sales objectives within the automotive sector.
Responsibilities
- Generate industry reports using SMMT and Insight data.
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, including forecasts and performance metrics.
- Coordinate communication between customers, dealers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth operational processes.
- Oversee pricing strategies for campaigns and quarterly sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage inbound customer inquiries via calls and emails, delivering prompt and accurate responses.
- Plan and organize marketing events, POS materials, and other sales support initiatives.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, including discount terms, and support fleet and Motability operations.
Requirements
- At least two years’ experience within the automotive and/or leasing industry is desirable.
- Experience in Fleet/Retail Administration and working with customers.
- A proficient level of numeracy and literacy with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and is competent in using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
- Be a motivated and well-organised individual, including the ability to work on your initiative with support from your Line Manager.
- The ability to work well within a team and can support and challenge colleagues appropriately.
